Evening of Worship exists to create a space where people from every background, denomination, culture, and generation can come together with one purpose—to worship Jesus Christ.
The vision began with a clear conviction from God to create an atmosphere where worship is centred on Him alone. That vision became a reality on December 14, 2014, with our first gathering, “An Intimate Evening with the Most High.” Since then, Evening of Worship has continued to provide opportunities for believers to pause from the demands of everyday life and encounter God through heartfelt worship, prayer, and surrender.
Our foundation is found in John 4:24, where Jesus declares that the Father is seeking those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. While we value musical excellence and creative expression, our greatest desire is that every gathering remains focused on God. The object of our worship is never the music, the worship team, or the experience—it is the Lord Himself. Everything we do is designed to direct hearts toward His presence and His glory.
Throughout the years, we have witnessed God work powerfully as people have gathered in worship. Many have shared testimonies of healing, encouragement, renewed hope, and fresh direction. While we rejoice in these stories, they are not the reason we gather. Our purpose is simply to honour God, to respond to His goodness with wholehearted worship, and to create space for Him to move as He desires.
As the ministry continues to grow, our vision is to establish Evening of Worship as an annual gathering during Canada’s Thanksgiving weekend, typically on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving provides a meaningful opportunity to reflect on God’s faithfulness, celebrate His goodness, and unite as the body of Christ in grateful worship.
More than an event, Evening of Worship is an invitation—an invitation to lay aside distractions, fix our eyes on Jesus, and join with believers from across our communities to declare His greatness.
We believe that when Christ is exalted, lives are transformed. Our prayer is that every person who attends leaves with a deeper awareness of God’s presence, a renewed love for Him, and a greater desire to live for His glory.
