Sheni Adewoye is an Ontario-based Christian artist and singer-songwriter crafting honest, God-centered contemporary worship music. His growing catalog reflects a faith-driven journey marked by authenticity and purpose. Through vulnerability and worship, Sheni creates space for real encounters with God, reminding listeners they’re never alone.

“I never imagined I’d be here—writing, recording, and sharing my music. For so long, I hesitated, convinced there were far more talented artists out there and that this path wasn’t meant for me. The thought of being vulnerable, of putting myself out there in such a personal way, felt overwhelming. So I focused on a career in business instead, thinking it was the safer, more practical choice. But there was always this nagging feeling, this relentless whisper, reminding me there was something more.”

During the pandemic, those quiet thoughts grew louder, and I knew I had to step out in faith. I started with Heart4worship, a YouTube worship channel where I invited my audience into stripped-down, no-pressure moments—just me, my piano, and my God. Although I enjoyed it, I knew I wasn’t meant to stop there.

In 2022, I finally took the leap and began releasing the songs that had been stirring in my heart for years—and there’s been no looking back. My debut single, Faithful – Standing on the Promises, was a declaration of God’s unwavering faithfulness in the darkest times. This was followed by King of the Universe in 2023, along with other powerful releases, including Personal God and most recently, God’s Not Done.

These songs encourage those going through tough seasons, reminding listeners that life has its ups and downs. Sometimes we need a shoulder to lean on; at other times, we’re called to light up someone else’s darkness.

“I’ve learned so much on this journey—about vulnerability, trust, and the way music can impact lives. It’s humbling to see how something so personal can resonate with others. I’ve also realized it’s not just about the music—it’s about creating space for people to encounter God in a way that’s real and unpretentious.”
